Literary Day celebration and inauguration of Theological, Historical and Arts associations (21 Jun 2018)

Orthodox Theological Seminary celebrated the Literary Day remembering the contributions of Sri. P. N. Panicker, the Father of the Library Movement in Kerala, after whom this day is observed. Prof. John M. Itty, retired Professor  and well known economist,  was the chief guest for the meeting. In his inaugural address he emphasized on the importance of reading in the development of a civilised society. Seminary Principal Fr. Dr. O. Thomas and faculty advisor of Theologial Association Fr. Dr. Jacob Mathew also spoke on the occasion reminding the seminary students about the need of wide and serious reading in the life of a Christian minister.  Final year student Br. Anu Thomas presented a glimpse of the life and contributions of Sri. P. N. Panicker on the occasion. The chief guest also inaugrated the various activities of The Theological, Historical Associations and Arts club for the 2018-2019 academic year.
